Under the umbrella of a Chinese government owned trading company based in Hong Kong, Omni started to do business in 1993 as a dedicated barbell and dumbbell OEM supplier for the leading sporting goods retailers in the USA and around the world. In late 1996, Omni became an independent company in Hong Kong, opening our New Jersey office to better serve USA customers.

In 2004 Omni started to successfully develop private label products for sporting goods retailers, focusing on weight racks and benches. By 2006, Omni has developed more than 20 items under strength training category with major USA sport goods retailers. In 2007 to further support our customer base Omni introduced its own lab factory in north China to enhance its product development, sourcing and supply chain management capabilities.
